Intern (Yale Environmental Fellow)
Ethan Ross is an intern at the Initiative for Energy Justice and a Fellow at the Yale University School of the Environment. He is pursuing his Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences with an emphasis on natural resources at Oregon State University.
Ethan’s work explores the intersection of social values and natural resource management; his graduate thesis examines how sociocultural, economic, and political factors have shaped natural resource management strategies in the American West over time, analyzing which stakeholders have driven these evolving approaches.
Ethan is a member of the Society of American Foresters and the Forest Stewards Guild. He also volunteers with the Whatcom Land Trust, a nonprofit organization that partners with local stakeholders to conserve the environment for the benefit of current and future generations. Ethan currently resides in Bellingham, Washington, and enjoys the region’s incredible natural beauty in his free time.
