Uche O. Ajene is a communications professional with over 15 years of global experience leading communications across various sectors, including non-profit and philanthropy. She is leveraging her extensive experience to amplify IEJ’s mission and impact by implementing communications programs, increasing the organization’s visibility, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Before joining IEJ, she led communications operations at PEAK Grantmaking and directed internal & external communications at eHealth Africa. She is passionate about using her skills to further the IEJ’s goals, ensuring that the organization’s voice is heard loud and clear in ongoing energy equity and justice conversations.

She lives in metro Atlanta and cultivates her collection of royal philodendrons in her spare time.
