In light of the disparities that currently exist among state level 100% laws, IEJ offered advocates and policymakers our Justice in 100 Scorecard. The scorecard equips stakeholders with a framework for analysis to further energy justice principles in the adoption of 100% laws. Building on our previous work, we’re excited to share our latest report: “Justice in 100: Analysis of the First Ten 100% Laws in the U.S.”

This report utilizes the Scorecard’s framework to evaluate the first ten 100% laws across five energy justice indicators. It also unearths two specific energy justice issues that need greater attention and advocacy moving forward—the definition of renewable energy and the definition of marginalized communities. We hope this analysis can inform advocates as they strategize how best to allocate their time and resources in the fight for energy justice. Delve into the report to learn more.
